Here's what happened: One of our PCs at the office is a Pentium 60. One of our guys at the office had to make some configuration changes to that machine along with a couple of others. He did so and emailed me (using Microsoft Mail) about it so I'd know about it. Changing names to protect the innocent, what he said was "Erwin, I fixed Bill's PC, Roger's PC and the Pentium". Unfortunately for him, he had his Microsoft Mail spelling checker on. Now, this spell checker doesn't prompt you for replacements when it doesn't recognize a word. It just makes the substitution for you! So, when I finally got the email, it went like this: "Erwin, I fixed Bill's PC, Roger's PC and the penis"! At first I thought "hmmm, was he thinking of something else while typing (and should I be nervous?". Someone else in the office saw this (because I had to show this to a couple of other people) and figured out what happened. For the rest of the day, we bugged him with lines like "is that a Pentium in your pocket or are you glad to see me?". Just ROTFL for the rest of the morning. Had to share that. -- Moderators accept or reject articles based solely on the criteria posted in the Frequently Asked Questions. Article content is the responsibility of the submittor.
